HELP - Try To Charge The Phone And It Thinks It's Connected To Computer
 

Out of the blue everytime I plug my HTC Touch Pro 2 into the regular wall charger it brings up a message that gives me the option "Choose A Connection Type" File Sharing, Disk Drive, etc. like its connected to the PC and it doesn't charge. Any idea of how to get this thing to charge again???http://www.4winmobile.com/forums/ima...s/confused.gif

had this happen to me too...went away on its own kinda...i think i let the phone battery die out and then plugged it in to charge and it worked...

Have you tried hard resetting the device (phone off...hold talk, end, power at the same time). If it still happening its probably the charging port on the phone being bad.

i had to get a replacement from the same issue, then it stopped charging from the wall period and would only charge half rate via PC, sorry man but its time to get it replaced....

I agree , I replaced my TP for this reason
