Sprint Insurance Question.

My friend wants to buy my unlocked Sprint Touch Pro 2 off me and and slide his T-mobile sim in. My question is this is:king: my second phone claim in 1 year. When will I be eligible for another claim? Another question. Do they block the old ESN after a claim?

if you report it lost/stolen/, the esn is blacklisted. you get 3 claims per year i believe.

they will block your esn # but since he will be using a sim card i dont think it will prevent him from using the phone. you are commiting insurance fraud btw

So let me understand. You know it is insurance fraud that you are committing and that is how you have a Touch Pro 2, by committing insurance fraud ? And you are ok with this ? This doesn't bother you ?

FYI: If you make 3 claims within one year, your insurance may get dropped.

Insurance fraud is not very nice. [-X

You can call Asurion, say your phone is water damaged. But don't send the phone in. Call Asurion a few days later and say you lost the phone. They'll waive you sending the phone in

Hmmmm....fraud is kinda frowned upon here at PPCGeeks and in general. There's no shame in legitimately trying to find the best deal out there for new stuff....but outright fraud is a no-no. I'm not trying to pass judgment on you or anyone....but it's actions like yours that increase the costs of insurance, new products, replacements, etc. for everyone.

late,
Coz

With that in mind I've taken the liberty of reporting you to Sprint.
