TP2 intermittently reading microsd card?
 

Whenever I listen to MP3s off my card for an extended period of time (extended could be 10 songs or 2 hours depending on the day), the micro sd card simply disappears. My Sprint TP2 won't recognize it until either I reboot or take out the card and put it back in. Just writing to see if anyone else experiences this issue. I searched for similar threads and couldn't find one, so if this is a repost then please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

try another card, sounds bad maybe.

Had a similar problem, would drop card if I went into dir's that had a long list of files.. flashed to Calkulin's Rom and it stopped.

Not sure if its the card since it works in any other device I put it in with no problems (camera, usb reader, touch pro, mogul, etc). I haven't tried flashing any roms on that so I'll give that a shot before I take the phone in to get checked out.

I used to have the same problem with my 16gb card when i first got my tp 2. this is what i did to fix... using any card reader copy everything on your micro sd to a temp fold on your computer. then format the card. then copy everything back onto your storage card and everything should be good to go.

Had this happen on many cards before.. The format with default settings on the PC first seemed to fix the problem. Copy the files on the card first to someplace else.

This happened to me as well. Use the phone to format the card, instead of a computer.

Same issue here. Had a Sandisk 8G card that required me to reset the phone 2-3 times daily to access the card. When I replaced it with a 16G card, the problem went away. I blamed the card, but when I later transferred some files, my PC found a data corruption issue on the 8G card. I would suggest doing what others have said: Re-format the card and see what happens.

Thanks guys! I'm going to try the reformat because the new rom didn't help lol
