Can you set programs to use WiFi when available?
 

OK i understand that certain programs will only use cellular data connection, for example MMS and perhaps weather update. I also know the web browser will use a connected WiFi network without changing any settings.

Under Settings > Connections > Connections > Advanced there is an option to "select which networks are automatically used". The drop-down is currently set to "Sprint", but there are other options, including "My ISP".

Is there a way to specify generally or to specific programs to use WiFi when available? Like I'm thinking email send/receive, IM programs like palringo, facebook app, pandora, etc.

Just thinking it'd be a lot faster if i could get as many programs as possible to use WiFi.
