Alternatives for Sense UI? Program Launchers to replace start menu?

Some other alternatives I have tried so far, Iphone Today, Winterface, Titanium + Panoramic Launchpad (current setup), and thats it so far. You know you spend enuff time lookin for these alternatives you actually find some decent ones, but Im tired of looking everywhere. Please share if you use something else that you really like.

I just want to say out of the three panoramic launchpad was my favorite. Replaces your start menu with a program launcher thats kinda similar to the manila program launcher. Very smooth, very customizable, and super finger friendly. To be honest I was kinda surprised to find such a gem w/o ever hearing about it. im a frequent visiotr to the forums but generally its always about manila/tf3d/sense ui or watever but i know there are those who stay away from sense ui, for watever reason(s), just let me in on wat ur doing to make your phone exp a good one.

*Also I just learned disabling the HTC dialer skin saves a good amount of memory and you can thank somebody over at xda for that lil tip. Then get a skin for wm dialer and you have a just as good phone dialer that looks pretty good, but saves memory.

Well, I've used HTC Home since my Mogul days, its very basic but very competent. And I'm in the process of reviewing Resco Contact Manager for TamsPPC.com & it has a really good today launcher plugin. Its highly customizable. I'm using both together right now, resco for program/settings launching and HTC home for weather. You can get Resco at resco.net & I'll attach the other one just in case you wanna try it.

Note- the second cab is HTC home customizer. Install that to change backgrounds, rearrange tabs, etc.

I have tried Resco... and moblie Shell and both seem to work great...but the only piece I really want from either is the ability to have a screen to put pictures of people (like favorites in Rosco), so I can touch the picture and dial the person. I hate the contacts screen in manilla...

Does anyone know any FREE or at least smaller and cheaper that does just the picture contact part?

I'm using UltimateLaunch. You can set it up to dial a contact from an icon. So you can just set up a bunch of contact icons, nothing else if that's what you want. It's a little time consuming to get the setup the way you want and to convert your contact photos into icons. UL costs $15, but you can use it for free as long as you like. If you don't register it you have to put up with an occassional nag on your today screen.
