Erasing Default ringers and dragging and deleting

I want to be able to delete all the default ringtones to make room for my custome ones, how can I delete them. * note: you can't just hit delete that option is not given*

is there a cab file or some update that will let you scroll over multiple selections and erase more than one file at a time? the touch pro would allow me to erase multiple items, as opposed to the tp2 which only lets me erase one file at a time.

* Thanks for the help

Re: Erasing Default ringers and dragging and deleting

The only way I've gotten the TP2 to allow me to select multiple items is to either disable the popup menu system that HTC installed, OR you can do what I currently do now which is use the keyboard. Use the arrows to navigate to first item, and then (just like on your computer) hold Shift while pressing up or down to highlight multiple items at once. Then menu->delete.

Also, if it won't let you delete anything in the system ringtone directory, try it from your computer while sync'd. The ringtone folder might have Archive, System, or Read-Only properties on it which prevent you from deleting anything inside.

I appreciate the response...... Im looking for a cab file that will let me use the stylus to drag over multiple items and erase them. Also those default ringtones take up WAY too much space. I want them gone lol
