calling a texted number
Hey, one more thing I found I cant do with my tp2. When I receive a text I used to be able to click on the number that sent the text and it would call that number. Now I have to go look that number up in my contact list. Not a big deal, but I want to be able to touch the number like I did on my TP1.
Any clues? |

You can do it in Manilla 2.1 and 2.5. Not in 2.0 (stock rom manilla).

mjr69 hey you are just hiting the number that the text came from. I just tried mine again - when I hit the number nothing happens.

Re: calling a texted number
I think that with the TP2, you have to press it a little harder (ie, almost hold it for about a sec or 2). With the TP, all you had to do was tap it and it would pop up. It may have been a little more sensitive. That was a little annoying to me. Lol. Let us know if you get it to work.

And if not, maybe try a soft reset?

Re: calling a texted number
I'm seeing this same issue in TF3D.. stock rom, but it came with 2.1. The difference I see is that there're links (on the screenie) and mine come as straight text. If I drill down to the WM menu, 'then' I get the links. weird.

Re: calling a texted number
Probably a feature they left out of HTC Messenger in Manila2.0 but added in 2.1.
Pull the text up WinMo SMS. The popup menu's could also be messing things up with that function (like the inability to drag to select multiple items in File Explorer). |
