Anyone have a good recommendation for a SIP (VOIP) client that works for TP2?
So, I am looking for a good SIP client, that works with the earphone speaker as well as the speakerphone option, that actually gets a decent sound in both directions. While it would be good if it works against Skype, I don't care which SIP/VOIP service it works against, as long as I can sign up and get calling to Canada (from the US) as part of it. I have tried the Skype client (barf), and tried Fring (not quite as barf-y, but the earphone piece doesn't seem to work on TP2).
Anyone have any suggestions for ones to look at? Thanks, LouisK |

Try Pocket Talk by NCH Software.
Although the sound is a little metallic, in low quality mode it manages to maintain a call on 3G networks quite well. Rarely do I notice that audio drops out. It for some reason does not turn off the phone's powersave, so unless you disable it it will disconnect your calls. Also, get an inexpensive VOIP provider like future-nine. |

Do you know if it works with gizmo5 and google voice setup?
