Re: IM Or Palringo

Im trying palringo, just installed it today. I have 2 different aim accounts 1 work, one not. yahoo, and MSN. It seems to be working I can be logged into all. One thing I have contacts that are shared between the two aim accounts and not sure how to switch to send from 1 account or the other, it seems to just default to the last one used. On Pc I use trilliain (astra now) which can do that with no problems
But other than that it seems just fine.

i've used every windows mobile im client known to man and i usually default to palringo (though it's far from perfect and now they're making you pay for some basic features...). i love the features of aol's IM but it's sloooowwww.

Wirelessly posted (XV6875 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

When using any of these apps, and you send or receive an IM, are they counter/charged as a text?

Texting charges have to be one of the biggest rip-offs - I'm paying $30/month for hundred os megs of data and they charge me extra for the miniscule amounts of data incurred by texting at way out of proportion rates?!

I just use Oz because it doesent drain the battery and it's very light weight but you dont get all the bells and stuff with others IM clients
