SMS timeout for counter reset?
 

Hey everyone,
I have been searching for a couple days, but have not found any answers. With the TP2, you must remain on a txt or email for a specific amount of time before the counter will mark it as read and remove it from the new sms bubble. Is there a tweak to reduce the time you must stay on a new msg to have it mark as read?

Bringing this back up in case anybody has solved this. I hate this function... I will get 5 SMS messages and have to hover over each one (or go into all messages and tap each line in the thread) to mark them as read.

if you "tap and hold" while you goto the next message it works just fine..

when u press, youll notice the message will move "down", just flick up or down to the next message, counter will change

you mean swipe to the next message? this doesn't seem to have anything to do with the unread count. I could swipe through 10 messages but unless I stay on each for around 3 seconds, they won't be marked as read.

tap, hold, swipe to next message.. i do it all day long
