True but the person you quoted assumed flashlight like how the TP1 had a bright light to use as a flash light.

I tried installing the torch prog, but i get an error message.

This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device.

How do I update the framework to run the app?

Just install the attached cab, that should update your framework.

I just start a new note .. give you a white screen, and saves on the install space

The attached Cabs I've seen before and if they are the best to offer then so be it. SpoonTorch is good and easily the brightest but I'm not crazy about the "credits" screen that pops up first. I'd much rather it had an "About" link at the bottom or something and just opened to full brightness.

The other flashlight is great and all but it's not bright enough. SpoonTorch blows it away.

Anyone aware of a crossover that will be the end all in the grand battle of the flashlight apps?

Have you tried the newest spoontorch (version 1.17) it loads automatically to full brightness and when you tap on the screen it closes the program.

Just tried it...thanks, it's alot better. I still wish the credits were hidden to view if wanted. Seems a little unnecessary to have all that on the screen when you activate. The other flashlight app has that faded button. Perhaps I'll recommend that to the guy on xda-dev.

Since TP1, this is the best flashlight app for TP2 http://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-73...0585282&sr=8-1

I have an HID flashlight, which would be the BEST, but it wont fit on the TP2...

Yah...but it disappears in 2 secs, so what the big deal...
