quick question bout the tmobile touch pro 2..
 

Hi got a quick question..my brother got a t-mobile touch pro 2 brand new free. from a guy at work..in a trade or something.. he asked me if i wanted it for 100 bucks.. so i bought it..But ive never used gsm stuff before only sprint..

I dont want to sign another contract etc..with tmobile..can i get a prepaid phone from tmobile or att and used the sim in the tp2? or something like that? just want to try it out with data..thanks

You could get a prepaid Tmo card, or they do offer no contract services. You could walk into Tmo, buy a flexpay SIM card, with data and pop it in. Ity basically works the same as a monthly plan, but no contract. Or you can go straight prepaid(minutes expire, pay as you go, etc) and add data

so basicly i can go say to walmart or best buy buy a pre paid tmobile phone and activate it. then take the sim out and put it in the tp2 and have working voice and data?

hum might have to check that out..Im currently happy with my pre and sprint.. really im looking for a data only plan..through tmobile.. which i know they have ..might check that out..even though it will be edge service out where i live..
