How Can I Make Calls Via Wifi?
Hi. I'm occasionally at a location with wifi but no Verizon cell service, and I'd like to be able to make calls from ym TP2 via wifi. Any advice on how to do this? I'd prefer that the solution is free, or at least cheap, and that it uses the phone's regular earpiece and mic. I have a Google Voice #, BTW.
I've done a lot of searching here at PPCGEEKS, XDA, and the close-to-useless HoFo. The most common answer seems to involve getting a Gizmo5 account, but Google bought them out and disabled new subscriptions. I have the latest Skype app installed, but it only seems to work via the speakerphone (or mic-enabled headphones, I'd assume). Thanks very much! Pib |

You can use skype like regular phone with "audioroute" basically it forces the sound for skype to the ear piece. I use it with skype all the time to make international long distance calls, it's great!
