With my experience overclocking a Treo, most battery drain comes from the radio and screen. CPU speed has a negligible effect on battery life.

I hope a solution is found. I could use a little more zip sometimes.

It is possible to overclock TP2 but noone has found a way yet(that i now of), Qualcomm keeps a tight lock on cpu's specs

i agree, my battery life rocks, if I didnt use this thing like a freakin laptop or pc it would last for days...... But im constantly on it for 8 straight internet hours

For some reason my battery only lasts BARELY one day on any given ROM, it could be the fact that I am a heavy user (exchange, 2 emails and constant use of FB and other apps), but I never had any issues before.

As for the overclocking, hey if it does not overheat the unit then I would give it a shot..

I think when the TP2 can be overclocked anyone who bought that $10 "famous Hong Kong" brand 2000mah battery is going to have a walking time bomb... just my opinion.
