Bluetooth & Wifi Registry info
 

Anyone know where the registry info is for bluetooth & wifi profiles? I'm trying to back them up in Sashimi. Thanks!

I never thought to look for registry setting for this, but that would sure save a lot of headaches with all the flashing I do.

I asked for this around 3 times already too. I found something in one of these threads that pointed to a registry entry. Unfortunately my phone had no such entry to backup. Let me know how your search goes for it. I love flashing my phone all the time but pairing all the different devices sure is a pain.

good luck trying to backup bluetooth...i have tried and failed at this...it needs a lot of registry settings and does not work correctly when restored...i have got the bluetooth items to show up on the phone but have to be repaired...i have found no way to keep the "handshake" that is established when first paired...good luck with this venture...i had played around with this for months and finally gave up!

During my last flash I backed up some registry entries for both Wifi and Bluetooth by searching the registy for device names. The wifi entries had no effect when restored, however...the bluetooth entries restored just fine. Phone connects right up to my computer, bluetooth vehicle head-unit, and all of my headsets...just as it did before the flash.

These are the locations of the bluetooth entrys. Back these locations up with the their subfolders:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WIDCOMM\BTConfig\Devic es

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WIDCOMM\Connections
