WM 6.5 Start Menu custom layout
 
I noticed my Start Menu icons (I'm using EnergyROM 28008) were moving around, and weren't in the same place as before. After messing around, I found out if you hold click an icon (folder or program), you can drag it anywhere. It seems the configuration is this (EnergyROM has 4 columns, you may have 3):

1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12
etc....

So if you move item 11 over item 2, it'll look like this:

1 11 2 3
4 5 6 7
8 9 10 12
etc...

This is on Calkulin's ROM too.

I'm curious if there's a .CAB available to move around the icons via dragging?

I like sorting my Start menu icons in various folders, but ran into an issue recently:

When I moved the Facebook icon into an Internet folder I created under Total Commander, it's location within the folder was near the bottom. So I held down on the icon, and clicked "Move to Top", which apparently resulted it in being moved to the top of the root Start Menu folder, despite having a copy of it in the Internet folder I created.

Under Total Commander, the root /Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder didn't list the Facebook.lnk file, which was still under the /Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Internet folder. However, when I tried moving the one in the Internet folder back into the root (which it didn't allow me to do so), I ended up deleting the icon under the Internet folder, which subsequently deleted *both* icons... and necessitated a complete reinstall of Facebook to re-create those .LNK files.

I'm pretty sure I probably could have created a shortcut to a program, and then figure out how to get the icon again, but I thought I'd ask here in hopes that someone may be able to explain/assist!
