Sprite restore problem today
 

I usually have good luck restoring either a Sprite or SPB BU file (I use both programs)

Today however, I had some odd results from a Sprite total system restore. I am running Juicy R3 & was messing with taskbar icons & got things all messed up & figured "no big deal, I Will restore the system"

After the restore it was running fine but then I noticed all five of my email accounts where totally gone. I then noticed all the contacts in the people tab where all botched up. I straightened that stuff out, but later in the day I went to uninstall a program & the entire remove programs box was totally empty.

I do have a few older backups I can restore which will probably fix these problems but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Did you do a hard reset before restore ?
I have the most luck when I do a restore from a clean rom :)


Takes a little longer .. but will get you better results.

I also do this with Sprite religiously...I had problems without a hardreset, but with it, it always works as intended...:mrgreen:
