How to install Windows Mobile 6.5
 

HI.. all =D>, I have just joined the forum to try and find out if we can upgrade our HTC HD to the latest mobile 6.5, I understand that it will require a new ROM which some one may have already created for users on this site.

Has any one come accross this ROM version or even tried to upgrade to the latest O/S version

I found a how to procedure, whoes link I have pasted below please take a look and and let me know your thoughts are around this upgrade

Also where to get the download, has it been released yet I know the beta verion is out there

scroll to blackstone, click on rom development or whichever you choose. all you need is inside my friend

Hi all i m very new to Smart Phone, Recently i took HTC HD - and its working fine. But now i need to Upgrade to win 6.5 - and can any one pls guide me the step by step procedure to do this - sorry for taking your valuable time

Silly board won't let me post link. Trying to help you all the same.

#1 - Unlock your phone so you can flash a new rom (Olinex SPL 1.56).
go to forum.xda-developers.com and showthread 431217
Or search the internets for "olinex 1.56"

#2 - Flash a new rom. You can use any one but I recommend using this one. Works splendid for me.

I am new to this phone stuff but followed this thread

and now my HD is running the energy 6.5 rom and sense 2.5 and I love it!!!

Its faster than 6.0 and a heap more usable that the original touch flo
Smoother and faster its like a dream come tru for me

Also upgrade the radio to 17 it is worth the effort
