BIG Problems with T-Mobile Data Plans
 

Well, over at XDA more than one person has experience this. T-Mobile is kind of cracking down now and will no longer allow any non-T-Mobile smartphone to use their $9.99 / month data plan. This plan only gave 100mb but...somehow it wasn't monitored so it was actually unlimited. All of us were enjoying this up until a few days ago.

Now when we try to use T-Mobile data in a browser we are told a subscription upgrade is required. Called T-Mobile and had it confirmed that they have the IMEI number of every T-Mobile phone in their database. If you are not a T-Mobile phone, then you can no longer use this awesome $9.99 / month data plan.

Any ideas anyone? Does anyone have any clue at all on how to spoof the IMEI code?

Hi, does anyone know what the data limit for the more exspensive T Mobile ($29) plan is, how much extra is tethering?

that is what i want to know too how do i change my imei on my universal or maybe spoof it. because the same damn thing is happening to me. i hate how tmobile wants to rip us off
