The demand is their
We finally have it, the Blackstone (touch HD) forum. Now, lets get some threads going about this gorgeous phone. Maybe we can get sprint's attention and have this phone brought to the states :headbang:=D>:headbang:

EDIT: and if there was enough demand/ppl who would purchase from me, I don't see why I couldn't give a small discount if you could show you were a member of PPCGeeks (and that you had been for more than like 2 weeks just cuz of this lol). I will be doing this on eBay if anyone cares. EDIT2: I don't mean to make this a personal advertisement or whatever (especially as I am not even yet selling the phones). I just saw this post and thought this would be an appropriate response. |
Re: The demand is their
buddy if you sell them, than i will definitely have to see some feedback, cause i am chomping at the bit to order this phone, but someone on XDA said they spoke to a HTC rep and the rep told them that HTC plans to bring the HD to the states Q1 of 09

Re: The demand is their
thats what i said, but after searching the web, i did read some posts that HTC does plan to bring a WM7 phone Q1 google it, but as far as the HD itself, nothing, im waiting for the member who posted that on here and on XDA to show some proof =D>

Re: The demand is their
Well hmm :S
1. I just started my eBay account so I have like 2 feedback. Sorry, oh well though. 2. I thought that HTC themselves said that they were not bringing the HD stateside? 3. I heard WM7 wasn't to be released till 2010? |
Re: The demand is their
Hey man, in no way am i here to bash you or say that you are doing something that is a fraud, im just stating A)what I have seen from other members and B) what I have read on the internet. If you do not believe me google "HTC TOUCH HD Q1 2009" and you will see links showing the whole WM7 thing coming out. Now as far as you being able to sell HD phones that ACTUALLY work and people recieving their phones, I will wait to see more than just a few to actually post up their experiences before i sign up or give ANYONE my hard earned money....that im still scraping together. H*ll, by the time i get all the money needed for this phone, it WILL probably be coming to the states. :protest::disgust:

Re: The demand is their
if sprint doesnt pick this phone up.
im going to lash out on the first CSR i talk to, TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. :p nah im not that mean. |
Re: The demand is their
The HD looks like a nice device, but I wish they would have included a small 5-way joystick like on the Apache in the middle of the buttons. I'm not sure windows mobile device without a d-pad will be as easy to use... on the other hand, that screen almost makes up for it!

Re: The demand is their
seriously though is there any word (confirmed) that the HD will be a CDMA platform specifically Sprint?
|
Re: The demand is their
IDK but rumors are starting to spread that HTC is bringing something to the states Q1 of 09 and also people here and on XDA have spoken to reps for HTC and that they do plan on bringing the HD onshore. Obviously this is a really REALLY smart move since the demand is obvious. Honestly, I do not want to spend a fortune getting a new plan and importing this phone. I am almost certain that i can sell my HTC TOUCH PRO to a good friend of mine but if not I have one for sell that i used for only a week and a half. I would love to get my hands on this "BOSS" phone but if something is coming, im sure that would give me plenty of time to scrap together the cash. Lets see if that member on here gets his HD today like he has been stating. ALSO, sprint would be wise to realize that this phone is wanted........now that APPLE plans to sell their IPHONE at walmart for $99, that just puts them one more step ahead of everyone and all the other cell phone companies.........one step further back ](*,):angry7:](*,)

Re: The demand is their
I've been watching the FCC website every so often to see if they have submitted any new phones for review just hoping that the HD or some other killer phone drops with US bands
|
Re: The demand is their
After using WM phones for years, I made the switch to iPhone when there was no large screen WM device in site.
Then came this phone... I couldn't resist and actually got one and used it on AT&T for a week or so. I'll tell ya, after using the fruit phone for a long time, WM was difficult to navigate and get used to again. I did miss the D-pad, but the larger screen made up for it in the most part. I rarely had to bring out the stylus. The screen resolution is amazing, but hard to see in sunlight. Anyway, EDGE is just way too slow where I live, so I sold it and went back to the fruit phone. If a US GSM version comes to the States, I will be very tempted. Oh, and for those who say the Omnia has a big screen, the resolution is only slightly higher than the usual 2.8 inch screens. Not a win for me. |
Re: The demand is their
What carriers have the HTC Touch HD?
|
Re: The demand is their
You have to buy it unlocked buddy, but you can use it on any GSM network. My friends runs his on ATT while, i am going to run mine on t-mobile
