Say it ain't so! (Titan No More?)
Firstly, this is NOT to spread any rumors or false information - merely a question about said rumors and possible false information.
I've heard from 3 people today alone (2 of which are fellow 6800/Titan owners) that HTC and/or Sprint is about to annouce that the Titan is to be discontinued due to "processor problems", replaced by a 6900. I've already performed numerous Google, Google Groups & Google News searches, but have come up with no solid information supporting this. Being a new (<3weeks) Titan owner - one personal and one issued by my job - I find this very disconcerting/hard to beleive. I know we've all had our issues with the phone, but I can't see this as being a valid statement. Thoughts? Has something similar to this happened with another other model Cell/PPC's in the past? |
i dont really believe it. if anything they would just replace the processor's in the newly made 6800's. i dont believe they would make a whole new phone because of this.

This does sound much more plausible than discontinuing an entire line. They might even offer some sort of trade-ip/trade-up program for the faulty units if the problem is so rampant.

If it's true then sprint WILL BE REPLACING MY NEW TITAN WITH A NEW VERSION!!
What are the "processor problems" though? |
Yeah, this is the most stable Windows PPC I've had
|
a rep told me that to and they are going to be geting the tilt for sprint soon some time after the vouge comes out sprint will be geting the tilt
|
6900?? sounds BS
