I'm having 2 problems with TCPMP .81
So I just installed TCPMP .81 so I can use GAPI. It was working PERFECTLY on the first video I tested off youtube. After that, when I try playing videos from youtube or any other site in the video sites list, the audio plays with no video. And another issue I'm having is landscape orientation, when the phone is open in landscape orientation, it displays as potrait orientation. Any ideas guys? I have the flashvideobundle installed as well, if that makes any difference.

uninstall .81 and go to this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=6623 . A problem I am having after fucking around with .81 and gapi (gapi will still be there after a hard reset, it's a bitch to get rid of), is that now I can't stream .asx through Windows Media Player, which totally blows.
Go with .72 and the flv 1.4.2 , trust me. |
So this is the scenario: My phone is open in landscape mode while browsing youtube (or other compatible video site) in fullscreen view. I click the link to play the video and TCPMP .81 opens in portrait mode, although the phone is currently in landscape mode. The file will start to play with audio only. If I click the fullscreen button, video will properly play with audio in fullscreen landscape mode til I click the screen once to escape fullscreen mode. TCPMP will return to portrait mode. If I continue to play at that point, once again, it will play only audio with the "paused frame" stuck on the screen. If I close, then re-open the phone, TCPMP will switch to landscape mode. It will properly playback audio/video in non fullscreen and fullscreen mode. Then, once I close TCPMP, the same thing happens all over again.
