Blah... when will there be a USB 2.0 PPC?!
Its ridiculous how long it takes to copy files to the Mogul... I just bought a 2GB card tonight and I'm moving a bunch of music to it (I'm on a special project at work right now... which means I get to sit on my ass pounding away copy and pasting things, checking accounts, etc., while I listen to music) and it takes like 5 minutes per album... T_T
You would think that by now, HTC would have moved to a faster USB platform. |
Agreed.

have you tryed removing the card and copying to just it not dir to the phone? that is how i move my movie files,

That's not the point.
And I don't have a card reader anyway. |
what takes the time is for the system to verify and poss convert the files, if you get a simple card reader it will fix ur issue, you can find one at any box store, and i got a Micro sd reader from Alltel, so i don't have to keep the holder card for my micro sd card..

Copying files to your card with ActiveSync is incredibly slow but USB 1.1 is only partly to blame. Get a card reader app such as Card Export or WM5torage and your PC will see the Mogul/card as a flash drive. Copying files by USB that was is MUCH faster than using Activesync.

Where did you read that? I can't find anything from an official source such as Sprint, HTC, or the manual. It just says USB and doesn't specify the revision. However this site says it's 1.1. It says the throughput is 12 mbps which is consistent with USB 1.1.

i would just buy a sd reader. it helps alot i can copy a whole movie in less time then a whole album would take you via activesync.
|
Atleast you get to transfer large files to it. When I try to do this it interrupts all the time. I think this is due to activesync though.
|
which is why i dont use active sync for the most part..
