MMS VS OUTLOOK... I need to make sure outlook wins...
I want the mms app, and i use outlook pushmail, but with the mms app installed when i open messaging, the mms folder is selected by default...
can i change this, because its mildly annoying... or does this not happen to everyone else? |
When I go to my messages it starts at a central screen that lets me choose "Email, SMS, MMS" I click on one and away I go. Mines never defaulted to just one, but I think there was an option in there somewhere to default to a certain screen. Have you looked around at the different settings?

im on sprint... so im running that arcsoft app...
i think alltel has mms built in... my mms doesn't show up as a messaging account... |
Nobody may have any input, but does anyone know the issue i speak of? or is this specific to me?
|
Same issue here....
|
Go to Messaging, tap Menu/Options and check "Display account picker when opening Messaging"
|
it should default to whichever you were looking at last.... at least that's what mine does?

It doesnt show up as an account in the account picker...
It doesnt show the last shown, and i even have messaging set to always be open in the background to speed its opening up... and when i "minimize" with out look open, it still shows mms when i bring it back up. |
If you "Exit" (meaning minimize by tapping the X or pressing the end button) while you still have a message open, the next time you refocus messaging, the open mexssage will pop up.
Best thing to do, get in the habit of when done reading a message whether it is text/email/mms, to press OK and return to the inbox of whatever service you are reading. Then when you press end or tap X, the next time you open messaging, the account selector screen will be the first thing you see. |
