bad luck? or is verizon playing games?

Last month my vx6800 would not accept my password for voicemail. When I enter the password I'd get "password not valid". Resetting and changing the pw did nothing to make it work.

I went back to my old trusty xv6700 that had served me well for years. After a couple weeks, this phone started cutting off the voice and giving me three beeps "hang up signal" every few seconds every time I talk. Is anyone else having any unusual problems lately with their verizon phones.

Both were upgraded to 6.1
