HTC mogul on sprint want to flash to cricket
 

:wave:Can anyone tell me step by step how to fully flash it to cricket? Also, what does unlocked mean do I need to unlock phone then flash it or do I just flash it. Will appreciate the help thanks.

Tutorial in post #8 of this thread...I can help you when you need help, but it is very simple. To start you need to search and download the Olipro-2.40 unlocker, Sprint shipped ROM, HTC USB drivers, QPST, BAFS MSL grabber, cricket MMS/WAP cab, once you have all these located shoot me a PM and I'll give you a quick write up on what you need to do. You will also need to choose a custom ROM.

I have a brand new Alltel PPC6800 that's never been used that I want to flash to Cricket. I don't have Alltel in my area. Verizon took it over. I'm on Sprint and don't want to change. This Alltel PPC6800 is what led me to this forum. Was going to try and flash it to Sprint but chickened out. Scared I'd break it or somehting. I ended up buying myself a used mogul and I'm happy with it. Whitey10tc, would the steps be the same to flash mogul to cricket? If so, could you post here or PM me too? Or would anyone suggest that I should leave it alone and sell it maybe?

Yes, Moguls, Titans, XV6800, ppc6800 are all in the Titan family named differently and change cosmetically by the different carriers. If you gather the tools and programs listed above and let me know when you have them all. and I'll PM or post a tutorial for the Mogul/Titan just like I have posted in the Vogue section. Some custom ROMS do not require the MMS/WAP cabs some do.

Above I mistakenly said mogul to cricket. I should have said alltel ppc6800 to cricket. I also meant to include in my last post that I had everything except the htc usb driver. Is it already in windows? I connect both the alltrel and mogul phones to my computer via usb cable.

I have included a custom ROM in this tutorial

1st off credit is due to those that wrote these programs I only take credit for putting this all together.

#1 use msl grabber to get the msl/spc code
install via activesync or sd card and run on ppc.

#2 unlock with the unlocker mentioned earlier in this thread.

#3 flash this sprint 6.1 ROM to update radio "WARNING DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATION RUN" SOFT RESET WHEN IT SAYS AUTO CUSTUMIZATION IN 3 SECONDS. This is for GPS1 to work. http://www.4shared.com/account/file/...S_AM_Ship.html
To do this connect USB to computer then Press power camera and Reset to get to bootloader red green yellow screen and connect to cable then run the exe file. DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATION RUN SOFT RESET WHEN IT SAYS CUSTOMIZE IN 3 SECONDS.

#4 Install QPST on computer
Install htc drivers on computer
Vista users will need this driver (Thanks to Sergey123456 from XDA)
Put phone into diag mode & connect to computer. computer should connect and find new device
run QPST configururation and add new port till you find your phone.
Now in QPST run from top menu start clients service programing.
Select phone
Read from phone imput spc/msl code from the grabber.
Then enter 000000 in the service programing field.
Write to phone
now while in QPST lets get your GPSone ste up for cricket.
Go to the GPS1 tab and uncheck all the boxes then recheck them.
then enter the following
pde ip address 209.210.15.72
pde port # 8888
pde transport IP
Position calculation mobile
Write to phone
close out
Do the following GPS Registry edits after installing desired ROM:
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\SUPL AGPS"
"GPSMode" value="2"
"ServerPort" value="8888"
"ServerIP" value="209.210.15.72"
I would recommend now to flash a custom ROM here is a link to one of mine: http://www.4shared.com/file/15155500...UU_signed.html

install on a FAT32 formated 2gig or less msd card and rename to titaimg.nbh THEN INSERT CARD AND PUT PHONE INTO BOOT LOADER AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.
You will need a cricket PRL to load through PST setting.

then go to this thread it will help you set up your pst setting correctly.

Install the cricketwapmms cab if using my ROM build included in this thread this is not needed.

Do not try to open a data connection untill you have cricket service on the phone.
To authinticate your user name 10digit#@mycricket.com
you must have service.

Just a couple notes to have Email and push services work you MUST have the $15.00 HTML plan on your account and your phone must be listed in the system as a QA4 Evoke. There are also other programs like proxi cap or Funambol that enable this feature to name a couple.

GPS Requires priming unless you use Ryans Googlemaps.cab
