It shouldn't although I wouldn't rule it out. Are you getting any type of error? Is it just AIM or Palringo altogether?

I don't use AIM...

But Palringo is just in a constant state of trying to connect... Apparently it is the common with this ROM from what I hear. :( Which bites since this rom fixed a lot of issues with my phone. This is the only problem I have now.
