Any help with Mobile Device Center error?
Hi all - hopefully you can assist me. After hours of this messing around - I cannot sync my HTC P4000 phone with my computer - running Win7 RTM, Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1, Office 2010 - keep getting this message:
http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/6747/wmdc.jpg There are no partnerships set up on the phone at all. Tried the "Rename mapi32.dll" solution found on the net, but WMDC errored again. Did system restore to get dlls back. No Firewalls/AV running. Any ideas? |
Re: Any help with Mobile Device Center error?
What kind of Network did you set up when you first started with Win7? Are you the only one using your PC? It sounds like you don't have administration priviledges. Go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts & Family Saftey>User Accounts... and see if you are logged in as the administrator.

Re: Any help with Mobile Device Center error?
Hey thanks for having a look at this with me!
I'm the only account on the PC and I'm admin. However, I did install VMware which I know creates a user account to run it's virtual machines and to network between the app and the PC. I'm wondering if that interferes with WMDC? |
Re: Any help with Mobile Device Center error?
Now I get "Exchange ActiveSync encountered an error. If this condition persists, please contact your System administrator."
