Internet not working but fixed (Read)

My Internet stopped working today. Whenever I tried to connect, the IOTA would pop up but fail and the internet would not connect. It worked fine with WiFi. I contacted Sprint and after 30 minutes was told by tech support that several people had been having this problem due to an update that went out two days ago. I had to go into the phone settings (using the MSL) to change settings that had been reset. Just thought I'd post in case someone else has this problem.

Do you have to change anything when you go into MSL? Please advise.

Thank you so much for this info. It just saved me a trip to the Sprint store to fix.

HAHAHA...I wish...I do still have to call them to get the settings because it's obviously not just a restore of the setting. That would have been nice because it would have fixed me.

After entering your MSL you go to View Info and then M. IP Customer Profile1.
Each one of those settings have something specific that must go in place.
i.e.
Enable Profile - Enable
NAI - yourusername@sprintpcs.com
MN HA SPI Set - Enable
MN HA SPI Value - 4D2
and so on... I'm not sure how specific this is to each user so don't blame me for bricking your device. This was more of an FYI because someone else reporting having the IOTA prevent connection and a Sprint Rep replaced the phone when Tech support can fix.

If your internet is slow you might want to check out this thread. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9480
It fixed my phone and it was simple. Surfing @ full speed again.
