I have live search on my today screen and i type in it just fine without installing this fix.

I have rom # 2.09.651.3

Talking about the new live search 2 application that was released a few months ago. Not the today plugin one.

This is the Windows Live Search App (older version of it anyways). In that screenshot, you could not type "italian restaurant" with the hard keyboard with the latest Sprint ROM.
