Possible Voice Command Fix
 

You guys,, saw this posted somewhere and thought I pass it on. I have Voice command and tried it, and it worked. In the post, It said that some PPC's, it changed automatically, but some didn't. Mine didn't so I tried it. It DOES work!!!! I hope it works for all!!! : Users can restore BT headset functionality by changing the following reg key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Au dioGateway\_

BTAGExtModule=\windows\vcbthag.dll

Didn't work because that file is not in the windows directory... it's in \Program Files\Voice Command\

If i'm not mistaken, that fix was designed for instances where you cook Voice Command into the Rom and could not hear feedback when using the BT headset (hence the reference to the windows folder).

I'm not running voice command on my mogul so i cant test it out, but whats the harm in trying (as long as you back up first!). Just point it to the Voice Command folder instead of the windows folder. Anyone down to try it?

installed voice command, my registry entry showed the same entry you suggested using.
nothing to change, nothing fixed.

Holy Crap it did work. So here is the deal. I know the vcbthag.dll dll file is in the program files/voice command root. But if change the following registry from

BTAGExtModule=\Program Files\Voice Command\vcbthag.dll

TO

BTAGExtModule=\windows\vcbthag.dll it works!!!! YAY.

I just unlocked my 6800 last night as well. Now just for sprint to fix my dawm sms and I am all set.

is this for microsoft voice command? or the built in one?

Cause if its for MS, this fixes those issues

I followed all the directions from the post above from divxrippimp - still won't let me use vc through a bt headset.

I have the Plantronics 510 and when I hold the call answer button in now it activates voice command and works well. It didn't do that before. I've did it several times and it seems to be consistent so far.

I don't know why everyone is having a problem with MVC. I have it working just fine over my Jabra BT350 without any changes. I wonder why.

is it STILL working ?
 

I had it working with my Cardo Scala 600, BUT it mysteriously STOPPED WORKING and I can't figure out how to get it working again! :scratch:
