Registery back ups??????

Ok I just got my Titan (Sprint) phone. I have followed these forums for several weeks. Without the phone in hand makes these forums just reading materials. I see that if you have downloaded the PHM Registry Editor you can make changes and tweaks. But as in any tweaking and for phone returns one needs to keep the original registry available. Just how or what program will back up the original registry. Will PHM allow you to back up the original registry?
It would be helpful if some one would do a step by step on backup of the registry and make it a must and keep it as a sticky.

Thanks

I dont know if PHM wil allow you to do that as I have never used it before. but I can for sure say that a backup program would do what your asking. Do a search for SPB Backup and Sprite Backup.

I use SPB and it works great - gotten me out of a couple jams before.

Mobile Registry Editor is a freeware registry editor that runs on your Windows PC and allows you to modify the registry on any WM device you have attached to that PC. You can also export the entire registry using it.

In PHM Registry Editor, Tools>Backup will do it. Remember to save it on your card instead of on the device to survive a hard reset or equipment change. Also, I use Sprite Backup to backup the device to the card automatically at 5 AM every day, and it also does a soft reset.

edit: sorry, I didn't notice that this was a zombie thread

Thanks Bakntyme, I think I will explore what you have and start getting ready for revA if that happens.

Thanks
