Comparison of Titan v6.5.x Builds (includes 23081)

I just wanted to provide some of my evaluation and testing of the Titan builds for those that might find it useful. I am a Sprint customer and do not have access to other carrier networks. I might not test all the builds but I do flash my phone fairly frequently. I had to use the HTML tagging in the post so that I could get the columns to line up. I you like this, please remember to click the thanks button on the bottom of the post.

As Mattsm has graciously pointed out, the following tests were perfromed in low memory mode (to allow for camera testing). You can change the mode under start\settings\system\kernel with most of the roms.

Re: Comparison of Titan v6.5.x Builds (includes 23081)

might want to check builds verses what apps are installed. Cuz they are not correct with what you have. All them programs in the right column are in my sprint version.
Also these builds will be redone by both of us.
There are a few issues that we are looking into.

Working on an updated one with 23075 column. Since I hit the big issue everyone is looking at in 23081 I stopped testing and verifying the applications installed (ergo the ?)

Re: Comparison of Titan v6.5.x Builds (includes 23081)

If you install this cab then it shows the sender for exchange mail for the 23075 build. As it replaces the syncmgr.dll file. I edited my 23075 post to include that. It was just a page over.

EDIT: might want to include whether you are running high memory mode or not. I know that you are not running in high memory mode though with only 19mb

Yes I was aware of the fix. I applied it and retested and updated the first post. Thanks.

This is a resource to show the common users experience with flashing these ROMS. Since I am not "cooking" whatever the originators are using is the mode for the ROMS I thought. From reading over at XDA, it appears that you have to choose this when you are building the ROM and not during "running". If there is a way to switch back and forth after "flashing" let me know.

You can switch from high memory to low memory with a program that is in start\settings\system\kernel
After you change it will prompt you to reset.
It has nothing to do with cook. I include the kernel in so that you can switch from one to the other.
Now what ever mode you are in when you flash is the mode you will be in with the rom that you flash.
So if you are in low mode and flash then you are still in low. You would have to use the kernel to change it.
Mine always stays in the high memory mode so when I flash it is already in high memory mode.

EDIT: With that said, while in high memory mode if you want to use camera, then it will prompt you to reset in low memory mode first.
I need to add this as well. If a cook does not include the kernel then you are stuck in whatever memory(high or low)and could have problems when trying to run camera.

Thanks for the information. Learn something new (or mulitple "new" items) everyday. I updated first post to indicate all tests using low memory mode (to allow for camera testing).

I was confusing Slot 0,1, 60, 61 allocation in 6.5 with high and low memory modes. Reference for others: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...37&postcount=2
