Mogul won't take calls on evdo
 

so i noticed this today

i got out off class and someone called me, when i pressed the talk button, nothing happened, so i presses the answer key on screen, nothing happened

so i did some trial and error and found out that when i have a active evdo connection, the phone calls dont go through on my end

the only thing i can think of is that i did those connection regedits, the one that allows the disconnect button and the one that allows me to set the automatic time out time

anyone else have this issue?

edit, i tried undoing the regkeys and restarting phone... no luck, i still cant pick up a call while on evdo connection

even weirder

when i tried to load up one of my old regkey saves, i cant connect at all, i get error code 1012, go back to todays save (which is post evdo regedits) and i can connect but cant take a call while on the connection

someone help!

cant do voice and data simultaneously on sprint.

im not trying to do both, usually the data connection gets cut so youcan talk when a call comes

my data connection is getting cut and a call shows up on screen, but when i try to answer, i get silence

if you hard reset the phone and do not restore your backups, does it work?

hard reseting is what i wanted to avoid, but i guess if i have no choice

i mainly wanted to know if anyone else has run into this issue after installing those reg edits, i dont want t hardreset, reinstall everything and get the same issue

I have the same problem. It's extremely annoying. I did the battery regedits (the ones that supposedly disconnect data/etc. when not in use) but apparently either i don't fully understand what those hacks did, or it's just not working like it's supposed to. In any case, yes, I'm having the same problem. Although up until now, I had no idea that it was because of the EVDO connection. It's pretty lame, the data connection not being killed when a call is coming through.

It's the disconnect data hack that does this - I had the same problem and after hard-resetting and not installing that hack solved my problem. There's no way to fix, even un-doing the tweak does not make it start working (Believe me I tried).

a couple of times a day for some reason i cant make or receive calls and finally i clik the phone icon on the top and it says my phone is not connected so i dont even know how many calls ive missed?? what do i do about that???????

'Noticed you use a hack to set connection timeout time. D'ya know how to disable connection timeout all together, but w/o using the GPRS (data) Always ON hack?
