I have an Alltel 6800... and need to use it on another carrier...
 

I bought a 6800 from a friend at Alltel and need to get it working on my carrier (they're dragging ass on launching the device) so what are the steps I need to take?

Do I need to change the ESN of the 6800 to the ESN of a device on my network? If so, what is the process (I've don't it on the 6700) -- if not, what path do I need to take?

who is ur carrier?

Cellular South (they wont activate phones that they didn't sell... so I can just walk it into the store)

Unfortunatally there isn't a way to change the ESN on the 6800 as of yet. So untill that is fixed you are unfortunatally out of luck.
