Mogul will not sync anymore???
 

Hi Guys, I am trying to get my Mogul to sync with windows to flash a new rom but for some odd reason Windows does not recognize it anymore. When I plug it in it starts to spin and then stops. So activesync will not work. My next option was to go the SD card route, but just my luck , now I can't even access my file folder. When I click it does not respond. The other programs open up fine. Is there anyone with any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this. Thanks in advance for all the help!:banghead::banghead:

try a different computer. I dont understand why your reasoning for not being able to use sd method. It is completely separate from usb activesync

Okay, The phone will start to sync when I plug it in via USB but the activesync wheel just spins for a minute and then stops. After trying all day to sync I decided maybe I would just run the file from an SD card, but when I try to access files on the mogul nothing happens. It started after a recent kitchen upgrade and I noticed that the phone was inoperable as well as SMS, meaning I would press the commands and nothing would happen. I also would like to add that when I plug the Mogul in via USB I can hear the response alert in Windows but it just won't sync with Activesync. Hope this helps.

I have tried diffrent computers and it will not sync with Activesync. You will hear the recognizing new hardware alert but it just refuse to sync. I have also tried going into connection and USB to PC to toggle the enable advanced network check box but this doesn't help. Now when I say I cannot access my files or SD card, I mean that when I go to the File Explorer folder it does not respond so therefore I can't run any files from SD card. It's strange as I never had this happen. Any suggestions?

Put it in bootloader then flash.

i agree with the doc. sounds like you have a bad rom, or it did not flash fully whatever, try a different rom to see if this clears your problem. i have had this happen to me once or twice i just created a new rom and reflashed.

you may want to flash again via activesync if your flashing the new sprint rom. doing that way will update the radio, prl, & pri. bootloader doesn't get all of them.

Also make sure you go to your task manager and kill the following tasks and then restart AS

rapimgr.exe
wcescomm.exe
wcesmgr.exe
