Sprint Mogul not retrieving all of my emails

I'm having a problem receiving some of my emails on my Sprint Mogul. I have pop3 email and I've set the Mogul up to retrieve my emails every 30 minutes. For some reason, it's not grabbing all of my emails. For example, I checked my email on my computer this morning using Outlook and I had 2 emails that had come in shortly after midnight; however, those email never showed up on my Mogul (I have my Outlook set up to leave a copy of all messages on the server, even when deleted in Outlook). I tried doing several manual send/receives and those emails still never showed up on the Mogul. This has happened to me several other times as well. Like I said, I have my email set up to leave copies of my messages on the server for two weeks so that I can retrieve my emails several different ways. Any idea why some emails come through on my Mogul and some don't?

I have the same problem too. I have pretty much given up on it.

Really? That's ridiculous. There's no good reason why this shouldn't work every single time - all it's doing is pulling mail directly from the mail server. If every other one of email clients is able to retrieve all of my emails, this one should be able to as well. I can't believe more people aren't having this problem.

Not to jack this thread, but I really like this idea. I hear a lot about how push eats your battery. Anyone know roughly how much more than normal? The above idea just might work very well for me.

it doesn't seem to affect my batter... the data is pushed to the phone... the phone isnt constantly checking the server...

I was on the phone with sprint tech support 3 times today over hours of time for this exact problem because one of my email is VERY high priority. I have my emails set to pick up every 5 minutes but sometimes I wont get an email for HOURS! Sprints answer: can't help you and dont understand what even to look for. The last one promised me a tech email with some suggestions but you guessed it.....I never got the email. I hope someone has an answer here.

I don't have gmail but I guess it doesn't really matter. How does this work though? Is it a free service? If so, which one do you sign up for? Also, if I reply to the email that's pushed to my phone, does it look like I'm replying from my pop3 account or does it come from a "mail2web" email address?

You have probably already looked at this, but double-check your setting for the 'Download messages' option - this controls which messages to download (Today's only, From the past 3 days, etc). I have mine set to 'All messages.'

Yup - I have it set to all messages. I think I'm going to use the mail2web option. It's not ideal but at least it's better than the setup I'm using now.
