Your Thoughts? Opera Mini Beta4 v PIEPlus 2.2

I have been using Mini Beta4 and like it, but am trial testing PIEPlus 2.2 and like it. Here are my thoughts so far:

You cannot start finger scrolling as quickly as the page loads with PIEPlus as with Mini, and yes, it costs $10.

PIEPlus Benefits:
- Tabbed browsing
- Finger scrolling over images does not load image (finger scroll over an image in Mini and it will load the image only on the screen, so you have to keep your finger scrolling away from images.
- Far superior Bookmarking capabilities

Anyone else?

Does pie plus have overview/zoom feature? The last time I used PIE plus was with PocketPC 2003.

PIEPlus adds some welcome features to PIE. I can't seem to get "scroll by line" to work with WM6 though. It's seems to be stuck on "scroll by link" or "scroll by page", no matter what setting is used. Also, finger scrolling requires the sensitivity of the digitizer to be set so high that it gets in the way with other functions.

I'm trying out Opera Mini and it's not too bad. I agree with your comment about the bookmarking capabilities compared to PIEPlus.

I have the sensitivity set to "1" but that seems to control how quickly it scrolls, not how sensitive the screen is to touch. I have found PIEPlus screen/scroll sensitivity to be less sensitive (better) than Mini. With Mini, I have to keep my finger away from links and images or it will load them.

I see what you mean. I turned down the sensitivity and it works much better now. I had cranked it up too much and it kinda got out of control. :)
