Voicemail Icon Won't Go Away!!

The voicemail icon is at the top of my screen, but there is no voicemail. I've checked about 4 times, but it always says, "You have no messages..." I don't even have any saved messages.

Anyone have any idea how I can get rid of that?!

On my PPC-6700, it's in Start-Settings-Personal-Phone-Services-Voicemail, then tap the Clear button to clear the voicemail icon.

CAll your VM, then to hang up press ** (star 2x) This will disconnect you and should clear the VM alert. I have a 730 and did this yesterday and it worked for me. Do you have Verizon?

No, I've got sprint... I actually tired that before, but it just wouldn't work... lol Fortunately, JIMSMITH94's advice worked for me. Thanks a lot, man!

just had to post a thanks, just got my vm icon off after 4 days. Let this be a lesson...SEARCH FIRST. :)

I believe this is the same as the file in the windows directory
/windows/ClearVoicemail.exe
