never mind, i called myself soft resetting, but i soft reset again and its fine! Doh!

now how do I go about installing these different skins for it I havent figured that one out yet?

really??? the only bar i see on the touch pad is the menu at the bottom right..there should be a contacts bar at the bottom left.. the funny thing is when i clicked the open space of the contacts came up lol...how odd..and you guys have to understand not everybody is as advance as your are. The code languages spoken about i dont know what they mean..im new to the ppc world..i have an older version of this dial pad but im conteplating weather switching back to it because it has the contact tab..can anyone elaborate???

yeah any way to fix this? The buttons till works if you press on it but the text is missing.

Has anyone figured out how to fix the missing "contacts" softkey text after installing this?

Sorry for the bump, but this is driving me nuts. After installing this new dialer skin, I noticed that the left softkey text ("Contacts") was gone. You can still bring up Contacts by pressing the button or by clicking the blank space where the text is supposed to be. But I'd obviously like for the text to be there. I've searched on 4-5 other mogul forums, but this is the only place where others have reported the same problem with this particular dialer. But the thread ended without resolution. I tried uninstalling the dialer and skin and soft reset, but the text is still missing from the stock Sprint dialer. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

the missing softkey is caused by the smartdial dll. here is the package without it, this one displays the contacts softkey fine on my mogul.

Is this quirky with call waiting? I thought that the stock dialer would identify which call you are on, let you mix calls to conversation, etc. With this dialer installed, when I get an incoming call on call waiting and accept it, the dialer still shows the original call. Then when I switch between calls, it just says "In Call" and doesn't identify which call I'm on. And I don't see an option to mix the calls together into a 3-way call.
