.vob (DVD) files are usually split into 1GB chunks.

Ok.... took the plunge, ordered the card for the Mogul. Will post update when received as to any success in getting the card recognized in the phone. Considering the fact that the 4GB SDHC works, I would hope that the 6GB will as well. Would have held out for the 8GB card if pricing and availability were known. Wish me luck.

Cool even if it doesn't you still have a huge jump drive. I bet it will be fine up to the 32 gb limit.

So where did you get it and pay?

I currently have a 4 gig Sandisk card (Office Max for $60) in my Alltel 6800 and its working just fine. After format,it gives me 3.7 gigs of space.

I was told bt HTC that the MAX sdhc tested in the mogul is an 8gb card and they couldn't test farther because there wern't any larger out yet..

You shouldn't be running FAT32. It's a horrible file system, especially for 1TB. Very inefficient, and wastes a lot of space on higher file system sizes. NTFS if you're on windows, or Reiser if you're on linux would probably be best.

Yeah, my 1TB drive runs NTFS and I dont have any problems.

Just received a 6GB SDHC SanDisk card with adapter and USB 2.0m reader/writer from shopblt.com for $78. Mogul recognizes and uses it fine but only sees 1.7GB of the card. Loaded the card with 5 + GB data in Windows but Mogul can only see the first 1.7GB that went onto the card. Partitioned the card into 4 and 2 GB partitions and then three 2GB partitions using Cute Partition Manager but Mogul still sees a 1.7GB card. Reformatted the card with SDFormatter and the card is back to its original status. All in all a nice jump drive until someone figures out how to get it recognized for its full size.

what OS are you using? is it alltel or telus wm5? if so you might want to upgrade to a wm6.
