disable notifications?
I'm wondering how to disable the "notification" I get when I miss a call, get a voicemail or a text message. I tried disabling it in settings -> sounds/notifications but whatever it is still takes over my left soft key until I view or dismiss it. I looked through registry hacks and used it to disable the text message sent notification, but sometimes I just want a missed call to sit there until I want to return it. I have HHC and it'd be cool if I could just get them to hang out in the icons designated for them, without the on screen notification/icon at the top. Is there a way to do this? I didn't know if this was a mogul or WM6 issue, I assume WM6 but I wasn't sure.
Thanks, sorry for the newbness |
id like to do this as well, had not put any time into it, ill poke around when i get home.

this looks like it's related to what I'm trying to do - when I get a notification of any sort, I want the ability to turn off the alarm (stop the ringing/vibrating/flashing) without causing the alert to go away. I'm using phoneAlarm and I'd like for example my voicemail icon to actually show that I have new voicemails, after acking the alarm itself.
From my very limited research it seems that if you could snooze any notification that might work. |
Re: disable notifications?
Has anybody figured out how to disable this yet? Im tired of getting a notifivaction button when I get a new email... My today screen already shows my text/email messages, no need for a notification button to show up...
