Go into Messaging in your phone and click on add new email account. Then just type in your Gmail info.

Yes. But my problem was that I had "mail from the last 5 days", picked and it didn't work. When I picked "all messages" it worked.

Aight..I'll give that a try...thanks!

try also changing your username to recent:yourusername@gmail.com.

riotek 09-16-2007 12:33 PM

why dont you use direct push on gmail with emoze it also syncs your contacts

http://www.emoze.com/en/get/emoze.to...ail/device.asp

h11013 09-16-2007 08:04 PM

i tried that with my treo 700wx. it didn't play nice at all but i'm assuming its because i was also using an exchange server for work email.

riotek 09-16-2007 08:40 PM

Oh dear god do not use emoze for gmail if you have an exchange server setup.... I made that mistake already myself... Personaly I forward all my gmail.com mail over to my account on mail2web.com live account and use there free mobile exchange server with direct push. I like that method alot better personaly. Ive been using it for about 2 years now flawlessly.

i found that one out the hard way, i feel like my phone never shut off from all the times it kept trying to connect, then it would disconnect then reconnect again. i deleted that after about 16 hours of having it on. but seems like it would work for someone not using exchange.

scotbotmosh 09-16-2007 10:16 PM

i got it to work. it was the 'Recieve All Mail' setting. thanks
