PPCGeeks - My Activesync connection w/ Mogul through BT is less than 3 seconds

Hi everyone.

I've been having problems connecting using BlueSoleil on WinXP. The problem is that I can only briefly connect to serial port A for less than 3 seconds only for it to disconnect from the Mogul's end. For those 3 seconds my ActiveSync tries to sync up which tells me there is linkage between computer and Mogul. Afterwards, there is no connection between the computer and my mogul. I've used the BT dongle on a Motorolla Q before with great success, so I don't think it's the dongle for now.

Another reason why I don't think it's the dongle is that I can form a connection using the Audio Sink service and play my phone mp3s on my computers speakers.

I have also tried uninstalling BlueSoleil and let XP's natural bluetooth drivers kick in, but I get the same issues, a brief connect then disconnect and a functional Audio Sink.

So I'm not sure why I can't form a solid connection with serial port A and subsequently with the rest of the computer. The notification on my BlueSoleil says the Mogul is the culprit that is disconnecting it. After searching and reading from various forums, I don't know where to go from here.
