Serious Help Needed with XV6800! No Signal!
Well...I tried unlocking/flashing my phone yesterday, and I think it worked, but now I'm having problems. I'll try to walk you through exactly what I did.
I ran the Hard-SPL-MFG to unlock the phone, and in the BL screen it showed that I had in fact upgraded to Olipro2.40. I ran the titan_radio_3.35.04 exe, and that seemed to work and go through. Finally, I ran dcd_titan_3.3.4 installer, and made sure I went back to bootloader during the splash screen (twice, in fact) *(I also tried running the newest RUU_Vogue_4350_ALLTEL before this other rom, but it kept saying I was using an incompatible device). I read that I needed to do a hard reset before everything would work...so I did that. I then called *228 to activate my phone, because it was showing a roaming symbol. Whenever the phone booted back up, it showed that I was searching for a signal. And it continues to do so. I went to sleep, and when I woke up and tried looking at it again, it sometimes shows that I have a weak signal, but when I try calling ANY number, it immediately tells me that my call is lost. I tried calling Verizon today, and they tried having me dial ##778, but that wouldn't bring up the right screen. Nothing seems to work, and I know it has something to do with something I installed (or installed wrong). It says in my system settings that I'm running ROM version: dcd 3.3.4 and radio version: 3.35.04. Can someone please help me out! |

Now that I think about it, I may have accidentally set my phone up to Sprint settings...
I wasn't sure went to load back into BL. I did so as soon as I saw the first configuration screen. You know...the one where you configure your little pointy stylus thing? I know now that I have to go through that, but then I let it go through the "3 seconds until auto-configure." I'm thinking THAT is what I was supposed to skip. Do you just go into BL then, and then it won't ever appear afterwards? If I did let it load Sprint settings, can anyone point me in the direction of a reversal tutorial? |

Also what rom are you trying to install. A vogue rom wouldn't install because it is for a different phone. Do you want stock or custom. |
