writing spl or os rom images using mtty? can this be done

All,
I have a 6800 on USCC that I decided to take the plunge and upgrade the other day. Long story short. I didn't do it right. I ended up installing a custom winmo 6.5 rom before unlocking the phone or installing the correct radio. The current spl, radio,os rom versions are as follows:
bootloader: SPL-1.07.0000
radio: 1.64.00
os: customer winmo 6.5 cooked in buildos

I am reading about the ability to write data to the phone using mtty. I wanted to know if there was a way to do one of three things to my 6800.
1. write a new spl that is unlocked and would allow for custom roms to be installed
2. cause the phone to boot into a soft spl so that I can install a new unlocked spl and then install the needed custom roms
3. write a dumped os rom that is from a stock uscc phone to memory to boot into winmo 6

There may be other options that I am not exploring and if so please let me know and I will consider them. I am really trying not to have to buy a new phone. I do have insurance on it, but at this point I do not think they will look kindly on me when they boot it and see a custom boot splash / sub splash. Thank you in advance to all of your help and suggestions. Also thanks to drewcam888 for his patience with me while explaining my phone problem.

Here is what you do. Install the stock verizon 6.0 rom.
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/CarrierR...Ruu_signed.nbh
But DO NOT let customizations run after align screen. Use styli and push reset on bottom of phone when you see customizing is 3 seconds. Then the phone will boot. Then start unlocking process again.

I am downloading it right now to give it a try. Should I install using the RUU program?

I have no idea if this is the actual 6.0 USCC rom. BUt it is worth a try. If it install than I say it is USCC.

Nope it was a no go. The RUU program received a error 264.

The HTC Unlocker was a no go too, it looks like the phone needs to be recognized in activesync for that to work

Thank you for your help again today.
