New HTC Titan 6800 owner with Cricket
 

First off I would like to say this site is awesome I love all the information that is available.

That being said I am also in the boat of the smart phone > me.

I recently purchased my 6800 from someone that had alot of apps already on it and some mods that made the menu look like an Iphone and other whatnots and the Wifi worked and Pic messaging worked as well.

And once I got it my wife and I were just trying to get rid of all the contacts and messages and what not and my wife happened across the "Clear Storage" option in settings. . . Well she pushed it and it did it's job . . . .

I have no clue why it would have wiped ALL the apps and what not from the phone. I was thinking it would only clear the general stuff. Seeing as how there is a remove application setting which I thought for sure would have been the option that I wanted to avoid.

Anywho. . I guess the question I need is HELP!

If anyone is local Arizona and can help me with this I would be very appreciative and probably buy ya lunch where ever we meet up at.

welcome here, ya clearstorage does just that, clears storage. makes the ppc as if it was brandnew. no manual with the ppc? lol what do you need help with? all the games,apps ect are here at ppcg. if you need help installing apps or games you can pm or im me and ill help ya or help find what your looking for.

yeah I need help with it all man.

WiFi doesn't seem to work but I am guessing that has something to do with the setting even though it should be set to WPA since that is what my wireless is set to. But yeah apparently Wifi used to work as did Pic Mesaging. Now it tries to connect to the Alltel line for Pic messaging.

There was an Awesome Slide to unlock option that is from the Iphones/Itouch. There was a Cricket Mafia name at the top left of the screen and udner it looked like signal bars. . . I have no clue what that was and since it was Cleared well yeah no idea.

Any help would be appreciative. I really do love all this phone has to offer or should I say I "Would" love all this phone has to offer but since I am cut off from about half of it and then there is the never ending possibilites with mods and rom's *Drool*

I dunno were to start really but yes. . . I Need Help

..omg. #-o my bf sounds like your wife lol. i suppose you could always ask the person you got it from if they ever made a backup of the phone. if they did, they can send you the file. if its too big to email, have them toss it on a cd.

Yeah I am in contact with them right now but they got the phone from someone else and then that person didn't know WTF they were doing apparently or whatever it's a total Crap storm.

So I will be PM'ing Darren.

Main thing I wanna get working right now is the WiFi and the Pic Messaging. And then move onto mods from there.

I got my HTC Mogul (Titan) from an ebay seller called the_noble_mobile (click here for link to his store). He was very helpful and may be able to help you. Worth a try anyways.

Ok so apparently it needs the quick start CD to sync with my computer ? Or where can I DL the sync program for my comp at ?

WTB Someone local to help with all this will pay for food.
