extra titan (Alltel PPC6800)
 

Any ideas on possible uses other then trash? I now apparently a verizon customer and got a "upgrade" to a Vogue (vz6900)

They tried to pull that with me last year when I "transititioned" from QWerst.
I had just bought a starter kit QWesrt 6800 (my 2nd.), and 3 days later I was being offered an XV6800 and a Q9C.
I b~tched enough about bringing 5 lines (2 with data) and ended up paying for 6900 "DOWNGRADE".
Last month they decided to ban all QWerst ESN #, (even good ones).
So I laid it on them again and got the XV6800 starter kit (BNIB), for $55.oo USD. (with a renual of my one yr. contract).
If I were you I would let them know that the lack of WiFi and a real keyboard, makes them look very greedy with equipment that does not meet your needs.

Just got off the phone with VZW, the Touch Pro is now $28.00 after mail in rebate...WOW (if thats what yau want).

About the 6800, I use my old Broken screen one for WiFi webcam security.

i did i told them i was getting screwed bc on my old alltel plan i got unlimited tethering and now i have to pay a extra 90.00 a month AND ONLY GET 5 gigs of data!!! (2 lines) alltel was only 30.00. Not to mention the "upgrade" they keep trying to sell me a blackberry, plan and simple i got screwed but i didnt have to pay anything for my 2 new 6900's i did however drop the tethering. Still got the old 6800 with nothing to do with it though. which of course they said wouldnt work on thier network even though they used to sell the damn thing.

if you arent selling it and have no personal use for it.. you could always give it to someone else. try to convert a friend/fam member to the ways of the ppc.. or pack it full of games and give it to a kid in the family (son/daughter/niece/nephew).. you dont have to actually activate the phone part, they generally feel cool just having something that their friends dont :)

mount it in the car dash and load tom tom and mp3's

Hyper-extend the camera and have a dash cam, with TomTom and WiFi and stereo bluetooth, (for the MP3 player).

Good ideas guys on mounting it in the car with mp3s and tom tom, or giving it to a family member full of games! Thanks!!! Ill def. do one of those!
