Camera wont work after titan and kitchen
 

Hello all, I am a complete newbe to all of this, spent 10 hours last night trying to reload my phone with the new radio and software, finally got it to all come together and work after screwing up several times, but I still have a few hangups, 1st the camera will not start, and second my carrier says CellSouth, when i start the phone, it is supposed to be uscellular, I dont know how to change that either. 3rd i cant dial ##000000 to look at the settings any and all help is greatly appreciated. thank you

Should I use DCD's rom file? and will or should that fix the camera file?

U need to be more specific...are you using a custom rom?? and if u are which one?? if u are u might be on the high memory kernel option in the system settings...this disables the camera. Need to switch it back to low memory kernel

I just downloaded DCD's 4.1.2 and installed it, everything is back to working like it should, except the CellSouth, instead of saying uscellular on the screen when you start the phone, ? any idea's? thnaks guys

I would like to add some custom skins or apps, how can i do that without loosing everything else that is loaded and working correctly now, do i still use the Kitchen or are there .rar files out there that work?

I think you are talking about changing the "Splash Screen".
There are some utillities out there that can change that.
You could use PPCKitchen and build with the 21501 base that is the most stable.
Or you could download a custom ROM, and load your carrier cab.

Agreed, changing the splashscreen is easy in the kitchen. What about the welcomehead.96.png also?
