Installed PocketCM - now I can't Search directory

I installed PocketCM - which is really great. Without it, I was able to search the Corporate Directory for contacts that were not in my phone. Now that I installed PocketCM, I can no longer search the Corporate Directory.

Is there a way to get PocketCM to search the directory. If not, is there a shortcut I can create that would point to the old version of "Contacts" that I can launch when I need to search it?

Thanks for your help! :D

Sounds like you installed the cab version of pocketCM.

If you install the "Zip" Version from the site - it will not add any registry edits and you will still have usage o the default contacts (i.e. via softkey).

Of you can keep the cab version installed and apply a registry hack to get your softkey to initiate the default contact prog as well. I think the had is in the FAQ on the PocketCM site.

I actually like PocketCM to be the default when I hit contacts on my softkey. I was hoping that there was a way I can create a new icon that was called CORPORATE or something that I could launch to run the old version of CONTACTS.

If this is possible, what is the app that I need to launch? is it MSCONTACTS??

If you install the zip file then do the reg hack to remap the softkey on the today screen to PocketCM it will only change the softkey on the today screen. You can still press the phone button to go into the phone dialer screen and press the left softkey from that screen to access the original contacts screen. This should let you use the PocketCM normally and still allow you to easily use the original contacts to search the corp numbers
Hope this helps
